Boxing commentator and trainer Kevin Murray is currently promoting the fight between Keremy Bulut and Shams, with both sides expecting a big show in London on April 16.
Bulut (17-2, 10 KOs) won the vacant WBA heavyweight title in November after defeating Gennady Golovkin.
The 32-year-old is coming off a stoppage loss to WBA junior welterweight champion Sergey Kovalev on April 2.
Buluts next fight is on April 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas against unbeaten contender Shams (17.5-0, 15 KOs).
The fight is the second time Bulut has fought in the ring since his loss to Golovkins.
Bulut was slated to defend the WBA title against Kovalevs next but was forced to withdraw after a back injury.
Bulutt’s first bout took place on October 6, 2016 in London when he knocked out Ruslan Chagaev in the eighth round.
He then went on to win the vacant junior middleweight title in May and knocked out undefeated WBA champion Wladimir Klitschko in December.
Buluta has won all three of his WBA and WBC belts, with a WBC super-middleweight title defense against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez coming in December 2017.
