The NRL is currently embroiled in a two-week finals dispute, with both clubs claiming they have the same players on their roster and in the same position at the club.
The Raiders have the advantage in the finals with their premiership-winning halves, while the Broncos have a much tougher task.
If the Raiders win the premiership, they will be the first club in the NRL to do so since the Roosters won it back in 2015.
That was a year after the Roos beat the Cowboys and Broncos in their first two premierships.
The Raiders and Broncos were locked in a battle for the premiership for the last five years, with the Raiders winning it back from the Roo in 2016 and Broncos winning it from the Broncos in 2017.
But the Rooms are looking at a tough run through the rest of the season as they look to finish with a premiership in 2019.
It is expected the Raiders will try and avoid the Roons’ fate by taking the opportunity to lock up their best players to the start of the 2019 season.
But it is the Broncos, with a team that has a lot of young players that are the most likely to benefit from a few wins.
While the Raiders have plenty of young talent on their list, the Broncos are likely to be hoping for more from their players as they seek to lock down their best and most talented players.
This season is shaping up to be the year that the Broncos finally put the hammer down on the Raiders and take a big step towards their own return to the finals.
